ASSISTANT OR ASSOCIATE (pre-tenure) PROFESSOR OF MARKETING DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND MARKETING Position Description: A full-time, tenure track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level is available in Marketing. Teaching responsibilities could include Marketing Research and Advanced Marketing Research, Branding, Marketing Analytics and/or Principles of Marketing at the undergraduate and MBA level. Other teaching responsibilities may include one or more of the following: Integrated Marketing Communications, International Marketing, Sustainable Marketing, Retailing and/or Consumer Behavior. The starting date is September 2016. Additional expectations include scholarship and service. Required Qualifications include: • • • • • • Ph.D. or ABD in Marketing or equivalent with expectation of completion by Fall 2016. Demonstrated excellence in teaching or the demonstration of teaching promise. Ability to teach Marketing Research, Advanced Marketing Research, Branding, Marketing Analytics and/or Principles of Marketing. Ability to work with and teach to an increasingly diverse student population. Excellent communications skills. Scholarship record commensurate with the number of years since completion of the Ph.D. or its equivalent. High degree of professionalism and organizational skills • Preferred Qualifications (but not necessarily required) include: • • • • Professional experience in the marketing field. MBA or equivalent degree. Ability to teach additional marketing courses as needed such as: Integrated Marketing Communications, International Marketing, Sustainable Marketing, Retailing and/or Consumer Behavior. Ability to work well with colleagues.
